With all the world's confederations drawn, the draw left some interesting pairings. Take a close look at who will be playing against who in this detailed analysis.

The road to the 2018 World Cup has started. Today, all the National Teams that made it through the preliminary rounds knew who they will be facing to make it to the European competition. But before we go into what the draw determined for each confederation, let's talk about those tickets that will be determined in a play-off. CONCACAF's fourth place in the World Cup Qualifiers will play against one of Asia's teams, while CONMEBOL looks for a fifth representative against the team that wins Oceania's World Cup Qualifier.

Let's take a closer look at what the draw had in store for each of the football regions around the world.

UEFA

Perhaps the most interesting draw of all. Big teams were paired up against each other to fight for a place in the global tournament, such as Spain and Italy, which were drawn in Group G. Other top teams drawn together are The Netherlands and France, two sides that will be sharing Group A. Meanwhile, Joachim Low's Germany will be in Group C alongside Norway, Czech Republic and Northern Ireland. Portugal, led by Cristiano Ronaldo, will be facing Switzerland and Hungary among other in Group B. Here are Europe's nine groups.

AFC

The African Football Confederation had the first two rounds of matches drawn today, including the lower ranked teams affiliated. Here are the matchups already been drawn, with the final groups to be determined later.

Round 2

CONCACAF

One of football's most controversial confederations after what happened in the ongoing Gold Cup will have a previous round of matches, which will include games for Jamaica, Canada, El Salvador and Haiti. Once the winners are determined, a group stage will be played with all the "big" names of the area, which include Mexico, the United States and Costa Rica, among others. The first two teams in each of the groups will advance to the final round.

Oceania

Two groups with four teams each were drawn to determine the "half-ticket" holder, which will be facing CONMEBOL's representative in a play-off.

CONMEBOL

With only ten teams playing a round-robin stage between each other, the draw for this confederation was held to determine the order of the games all national teams will be playing.
