Former Espanyol shot-stopper Kiko Casilla will join Los Blancos this season, after the team parted ways with Iker Casillas, Kiko, 28, was part of the team's youth categories ten years ago, as he takes on one of the biggest challenges in his career. Real Madrid paid Espanyol six million euros for the player's services.

Casilla's arrival to La Casa Blanca might come as a disappointment for Real Madrid fans, who expected David De Gea to step into the shoes of the historic Iker.
