Brazil will face South Korea in a Group E encounter on Tuesday, the 9th of June at the Stade Olympique. Check the live TV and online streaming broadcast listings for Brazil vs South Korea below.

Despite boasting some of the best players, the Brazil national team has failed to record a single World Cup title and they will be hoping to change that as they participate in the illustrious tournament for the seventh time. Their best finish was back in 2007, when the Brazil women's team made it to the final of the competition back in 2007, a match they lost to Germany.

However they will be in a buoyant mood coming into the World Cup having won the Copa America Femenina title back in September last year. The triumph was the team's sixth in the competitions and they will surely be hoping to add a World Cup title to the trophy cabinet.

Brazil did make do without their star player Marta Vieira da Silva in the Copa America but are set to welcome her back for the World Cup. The 29 year old will be looking to create an impression in the tournament and will definitely be eying the record for the most number of goals scored in the World Cup. Her tally of 14 goals scored in the competition is joint highest and she will definitely be hoping to better it.

However while all the limelight might be on the five time FIFA Women’s World Player of the Year, her striker partner Cristiane Rozeira de Souza Silva is also capable of causing a havoc in the opposition half. In the absence of Marta it was Cristiane who led the line in the Copa America, a job she performed with aplomb by scoring six goals in the competition.

Apart from their excellent offence which was the best in the tournament, Brazil also had the most impressive defensive record in the Copa America conceding just three goals.

South Korea on the other hand are yet to record a win in the World Cup having lost all of their three matches when they participated in the competition back in 2003. They however do have a much better team this time around which also includes Chelsea star Ji So-Yun.

The 24 year old won the 2015 PFA Women's player's player of the year award and will definitely be one of the players to look out for in the tournament. Ji So-Yun is the team's top scorer having registered 38 goals in 74 appearances.

The Taeguk Ladies will be high in confidence after a successful outing against the United States women's team last time out which ended in a draw. South Korea will definitely be pleased having fought valiantly against one of the tournament's favorites and will be hoping to produce a similar performance against Brazil.
