Norwich will battle it out with Middlesbrough for a place in the Premier League just 12 months after they got demoted from England's top tier league. They have performed admirably under the tutelage of Alex Neil and under the guidance of the former Hamilton boss, the Canaries have recorded 16 wins out of 24 games. This includes a victory over rivals Ipswich in the playoff semi-final. Another win on Monday could guarantee them a return to the top flight and manager Alex Neil is confident that his team can achieve that.
"I believe that if we do what we're capable of doing, we're more than capable of winning the game."
Norwich have enjoyed a lengthy break and have used it to familiarize themselves with the national stadium and its surroundings.
"The gap between the games is eight days, which is longer than normal," Neil added.
"We felt we had an opportunity where we could go down, familiarise ourselves with the surroundings that we're going to come into contact with on Monday, in terms of the stadium, the hotel we're going to be staying in.
"We went down, made sure we looked about the place, knew exactly what's going to be coming, so when we go down there it's not all new to them.
"And they're ready and solely focused on the match and not worried about where they're going to be changing or any silly details like that."
Norwich have been in a good run as of late having lost just once in their last five matches.
Boro on the other hand have produced decent performances in their recent outings as well and will be full of confidence having Championship player of the year, Patrick Bamford, in their ranks. However the youngster who is on loan from Chelsea missed the match against Brentford last time out with an ankle injury and is doubtful for the match. In his absence Spanish international Kike is expected to lead the line for Karanka's side.
Norwich on the other hand have no fresh injury concerns and are poised to welcome Lewis Grabban back to the squad who completed his three match suspension.
