The Colombian striker has been a flop since arriving to the Red Devils on a one-year loan from Monaco. He has scored only four goals in 28 matches.

Radamel Falcao's future may have already been decided, but none of his usual sources had revealed it so far. The Colombian striker has been a disappointment for Manchester United's loyal fans, who believed he could prove worthy of wearing the No. 9 jersey. With his one-year loan coming to an end, his future seems to be away from Old Trafford, and his own mother has revealed during an interview the player is not quite himself with Manchester United.

"Not everything has been easy in Falcao's life. He had some difficult moments in his career. They slowed his progress and prevented him from participating in important competitions like the World Cup, or have confined him to the bench, like in Manchester. It's not a normal situation given what he has experienced in his career, but it happens in football. If God shows him a new path, he'll leave Manchester," the player's mom, Carmenza Zarate, stated.

Louis Van Gaal has criticized Falcao's poor form repeatedly this season, relegating the South American to the team's bench.

Falcao's mother also referred to his son's relationship with Dutch coach Louis Van Gaal, who has been blamed for leaving the player on the bench out of whim. Mrs. Zarate dismissed Van Gaal had a personal agenda against his son, while revealing she understands the coach's decisions.

"I believe what Van Gaal does with Falcao is not personal because the same thing happens with Angel Di Maria and Robin Van Persie. It's his way of working, and you have to respect that. He (Falcao) has to prove results for the Manchester United executives, and we will see how he achieves that," Mrs. Zarate concluded.

Falcao's near future has not been clarified, but his agent Jorge Mendes has revealed Juventus, Atletico and Real Madrid still keep an eye on his client despite his poor form this year.
