The Portuguese defender doesn't believe Los Blancos have any advantage over Juventus, since both sides are looking to achieve the same goal.

Portuguese defender Pepe doesn't believe Real Madrid can be considered as the favorite team to rise the UEFA Champions League in Berlin next month, since Los Blancos have to defeat Juventus before they can think of repeating last year's title.

According to Pepe, one of the key elements to Real Madrid's success is defender Sergio Ramos. Usually his partner in Los Blancos' defense,  the Spanish player has been used by Carlo Ancelotti as a holding midfielder, something that talks about Ramos' ability to perform for the team.

"Sergio is taking one for the team, he is truly one of our inspirations. He provides quality to our midfield and helps Toni (Kroos) with defensive duties. He also poses a threat whenever the team plays set pieces. I think he is one of the best players in our club," Pepe stated.

Regarding tomorrow's match, the Portuguese defender believes that defeating La Vecchia Signora will not be as easy for them as some might think, and the team's goal will be going back to Madrid with a result that makes things a little less complicated for them.

"It's going to be quite tough. We will face a typical Italian team that will defend their goal at all costs. We have to be very concentrated, because they will try to harm us with their strikers. Nevertheless, we are confident we can bring a good result back to Madrid. It won't be easy to win here, but we have to enjoy this opportunity, but also show true concentration," the defender concluded.
