Liverpool will welcome relegation contenders QPR to the Anfield on Saturday, the 2nd of May in a Premier League encounter. Check the live TV and online streaming broadcast listings for Liverpool vs QPR below.

Liverpool squandered their chances of potentially finishing in the top four after suffering a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Hull City last time out. The defeat meant that Liverpool have now gone three games without a win and trail fourth placed Man United by seven points.

Liverpool have managed 47 goals in 34 matches this season with their goal scoring record in stark contrast with their effectiveness in the final third last season when Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge in particular terrorising defences with their formidable partnership. At the same stage last season, the Reds had scored almost the double the amount of goals but have failed to replicate last season's dominance.
Liverpool's failure to finish in the top four could have repercussions on current manager Brendan Rodgers who has come under intense scrutiny this season.

However his opposite number Chris Ramsey has offered support to the former Swansea tactician also highlighting the importance of Saturday's game for his side as the Hoops aims to avoid relegation.

"I would really love to have that pressure that he's got," Ramsey said. "I don't know how you guys work if I'm being honest. He's at a big club, he's done very, very well.

"He said it himself the other day -- three months ago he was a tactical genius. You don't become a bad manager overnight.

"We understand there is pressure on them because they are a huge club with big expectations. But the pressure is on us really because we don't want to go out of the division.

"The implications of going out of the division are huge so I think we actually have much, much more to lose than him."

QPR themselves have been on a less than impressive run in recent games having managed a victory in just one of their last five matches which came in a convincing 4-1 win over West Brom on the 4th of April.

The two sides were involved in a scintillating encounter in the reverse fixture as the match ended in a five goal thriller. The game ended 3-2 in Liverpool's favor in a match which saw four goals in the closing minutes.

Liverpool have to be more resilient in their resolve as any further blips could deny them of a Europa League spot with Tottenham and Southampton following closely behind.

They are currently without their first choice striker Daniel Sturridge who could be joined on the injury list by summer signing Mario Balotelli. However Lucas Leiva and Alberto Moreno have returned to training and could feature over the weekend. Rio Ferdinand will go through fitness tests which will determine his inclusion in the squad but Bobby Zamora is likely to feature despite injury concerns.
