The German and Chilean ace bagged wonderful goals in the clash at the Emirates, setting Twitter alight.

Arsenal record signing Mesut Ozil has always been criticized for disappearing in the big games. However, in Arsenal vs. Liverpool, the German took the great opportunity to silence his critics.

The 26-year-old midfielder scored a wonderful free-kick goal past Simon Mignolet in the first half of the the clash at the Emirates, curling in the ball into the left corner of the goal in brilliant fashion.

Ozil's strike in the 40th minute, his third goa in eight English Premier League games, put the Gunners 2-0 ahead after Hector Bellerin opened the scoring for the north London side in the 37th minute.

Of course, as usual, Twitter was quick to react to the beauty of a goal, praising the German for his wonderful strike. Check out the best tweets below.

The former Real Madrid man wasn't the only one to score a stunner against Brendan Rodgers crew. Five minutes after doubling their lead, Alexis Sanchez scored a screamer, unleashing a ferocious right-footed strike into the back of the net.

Mignolet was too far off his line and was left helpless at stopping Sanchez's strike. This was the former Barcelona man's 20th goal for Arsenal in 43 appearances.
