It was a foul on Radamel Falcao that started a big mess up by the referee Roger East in the Manchester United vs Sunderland game. When the red card should have gone to John O’Shea, it was his teammate Wes Brown who was sent off.
Falcao was about to make a run on his own for goal and both Sunderland players were close by. While Brown made an attempt to get the ball clear of the Colombian striker, it was O’Shea who clearly brought down the Red
This is the moment in which Falcao rushed O’Shea was even trying to convince the ref that the one that should be sent out was him and not Brown. The 75,000 people watching the game at Old Trafford seemed to be mesmerized by what was going on.
