Tottenham Hotspur and Young Boys will clash at White Hart Lane in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League play-off tie. It promises to be a “great night” as Coach Harry Redknapp expects it to be.

UEFA Champions League play-off match: Tottenham Hotspur vs Young Boys in action. Will Young Boys stun the favorites of this clash to grab a place in the group stages of the UEFA Champions League? Will Spurs make justice to all the hard work they did last season as they finished fourth in the English Premier League? Well, Tottenham are 3-2 down going into Wednesday’s European battle and it’s left for us all to see who will be smiling at the end of proceedings.

The Swiss side made the most of their artificial home pitch as they tortured the Londoners with 3 goals in the opening 30 minutes of the game in the first leg. They certainly pushed Spurs all the way down the wire. However, they were perhaps unlucky to concede twice and thus cut their 3-goal margin to a single one.

Either way, Young Boys will enter White Hart Lane knowing that a draw will be enough to see them through to the group stages of the UEFA Champions League. They may make things hard for their opponents and Tottenham Hotspur Coach Harry Redknapp is aware of the Swiss side's potential. Speaking to the media, the former Portsmouth manager declared:

“We won’t underestimate them. We will have to play really well at White Hart Lane, and I think that we’ve got a great chance now [that we have two away goals].

“It will be a great night at White Hart Lane. They [Young Boys] will be tough. They are disciplined, difficult to break down, and they’ve got some good players. They’re good on the break. They will work their socks off.”

Tottenham Hotspur ran away with a controversial 2-1 win against Stoke City in the English Premier League last weekend. A repeat of that result will be enough for Spurs to play Champions League football this season.
