Lionel Messi wanted to win again on Sunday night, but this time not on the soccer field, but at the Casino de Barcelona. The Argentinian was spotted with Gerard Pique and Cesc Fabregas at around midnight.
Despite the criticism Barcelona has faced after their recent defeat to Malaga, Pique and Messi found some time to meet up with their former teammate. There is a possibility they were asking Fabregas on how to beat Manchester City, Barcelona’s rival in the Champions League Round of 16.
The Casino de Barcelona is widely known for its poker tournaments, roulette and blackjack tables. It is considered a good spot for tourists and stars alike to escape their daily routine.
Fabregas did not travel alone to Spain, he also brought his wife Daniella Semaan along for the ride. She later posted a picture on Instagram with La Pulga’s wife, Antonella Roccuzzo.
