The incident was trolled and criticized on social media, but the player's brother tried to find a way to lighten up the pressure on his brother. Okan shared the picture via his Instagram account.

La Liga will not sanction Turan
After reviewing the game report by referee Gil Manzano, La Liga's Sanction Committee will not take any further disciplinary action against Turan, since he was handed a yellow card by the game's officer.
