The Ivory Coast striker could make the announcement in the next couple of weeks, and would be joining Jose Mourinho's coaching staff next year.

One more historic Premier League player could be waving goodbye to his beloved crowd. Acording to sources, Ivory Coast striker Didier Drogba is seriously considering to hang his boots once the 2014-2015 season is over, and he would have decided to become a part of Jose Mourinho's crew once he makes the announcement.

Currently, Drogba is relegated to a substitute role with Chelsea, given Diego Costa is having a wonderful Premier League debut with the Blues. Furthermore, Loic Remy's addition and the possible arrival of Andrej Kramaric could cut Drogba's minutes on the pitch, fueling his thought that it's time for him to take a step aside for good.

Drogba came back this season after spending the last two years playing for Turkish side Galatasaray and Chinese outfit Shanghai Shenhua. During his second stint with the Blues, Drogba has taken part of 17 matches, scoring six goals, counting every competition, despite not being in top shape when the season started. Along with the hard competition he's facing, a series of injuries could also be behind the African striker's plans.
