Serbia vs Denmark will be featured in a Euro 2016 qualifier on Friday, the 14th of November at the Stadion FK Partizan.

After a highly controversial encounter against Albania last time out, the Serbians will be looking to restore order when they welcome Denmark to Bumbarevo Brdo. Things got out of control when an Albanian nationalist banner was seen flying around in a remote controlled device across the stadium, which resulted in the football pitch turn into a war zone.

The match was abandoned as a result, with Serbia awarded a 3-0 win after Albanian players refused to return to the match. However the three points earned were taken away from Serbia as a penalty for the violence caused during the match. As a further punishment Serbia have been ordered to play their next two Euro 2016 qualifiers behind closed doors starting with the match against Denmark on Friday.

As a result of the decisions taken Serbia sit fourth in Group I just one place above Armenia on goal difference. However the white eagles do have a hoard of talent in their squad most of whom are important players in their respective Premier League sides.

Branislav Ivanović and Nemanja Matić are both first team players in a Chelsea side which has been unbeaten in the Premier League so far. Man City duo Nastasic and Aleksandar Kolarov are also part of Dick Advocaat's setup but the latter is unlikely to feature after picking up an injury prior to the match against Manchester United. Dušan Tadić who has been influential in Southampton's impressive run in the Premier League is also likely to start alongside Liverpool youngster Lazar Marković.

Denmark on the other hand are currently top of the group after three games. They suffered their first defeat of the Euro 2016 Qualifiers after an injury time goal from Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo gave Portugal a win in their last outing against Denmark.

Despite being top of the group Denmark have not been on the best of their runs having recorded just two wins in their last five matches. Their last win came against Armenia when Morten Olsen's men secured a comeback following  a goal from Dortmund star Mkhitaryan who gave the away side the lead. Højbjerg and Kahlenberg then got themselves on the score sheet to give Denmark the victory.
