Chelsea's playmaker underwent a medical review earlier today, confirming an injury sustained during his last game with The Blues against Liverpool.

Cesc Fabregas will not be available for Spain's International matches this week, after coming down with an injury during Chelsea's match against Liverpool last weekend.

The Catalunyan player underwent a series of medical examinations to determine if he would be available for Vicente Del Bosque's squad, but doctors Oscar Celada and Jesus Cota confirmed what their Chelsea counterparts informed before. Fabregas had one last meal with his teammates before leaving the Spanish National Team's training facilities. Fabregas will miss the Euro 2016 qualifying match against Belarus, and a friendly match against Germany.

The Spanish Football Federation called up Bruno Soriano to substitute Fabregas for this weeks games. Soriano will return with La Roja after two years, when he was part of the squad that won the Euro 2012.
