Las Aguilas lost their last game against Queretaro after being able to come back from a 2-0 deficit.

Things have not been working fine for Club America in the past few weeks. After losing two out of their last three matches, Las Aguilas will look to redeem themselves against arch-rival Guadalajara, when they face each other in another edition of the Mexican Clasico.

One of Antonio Mohamed's most important players, goalkeeper Moises Muñoz, stated today the team has to learn from their mistakes, such as losing against Queretaro on Friday, when they were able to come back from a 2-0 score, just to lose the match in the final seconds of the game.

"We have to be smarter. We can't go out there and make the same mistakes we made against Queretaro. We can't just focus on the attacking side and leave our goal unprotected. They scored with two well planned counter attacks, and we must not lose our focus again. We have to improve that and keep moving forward," Muñoz stated.

Chivas will arrive to this Clasico under a good amount of pressure. With the team facing relegation, America have to take full advantage of the situation, and leave behind the bad image they have left when facing top opponents like Cruz Azul and Pumas.

"This is a golden opportunity for us. We have to win this one no matter what circumstances we run into.If we keep doing what we have been doing at home, we should end up with the three points in the bag. We have to be efficient and make our chances count. We don't care if they are relegated next year, we have to win this so we can pay our debt to our fans," Muñoz added.

If America wins on Saturday, they will most likely secure the number one spot for the Apertura 2014 playoffs.
