West Ham United vs Manchester City comes to you live online and on TV on Saturday, October 25, 2014. Don’t miss this clash between the London side and the classy visitors.

Manchester City, having won their last three matches, sits comfortably in second spot behind leaders Chlsea in the English Premier League table. In the previous match day, they put four past Tottenham Hotspur. Sergio Aguero became only the third player in Premier League history to score three penalties in one match. They also beat Aston Villa and Hull City in their past matches.

However, during midweek, City once again disappointed in the UEFA Champions League. They had a golden chance to grab all three points against Russians CSKA Moskva but squandered a two goal lead. They have collected two points from three matches courtesy of two draws and sit behind Bayern and Roma in third. If they do not beat Moskva in the next encounter, they might have to rely on Bayern to bail them out by beating Roma.

However, City cannot overlook the challenge this weekend brings. West Ham is surprisingly fourth in the table. They beat Burnley, 1-3 and QPR, 2-0 in their two previous matches. In their past five Premier League matches, they have suffered only one defeat. That loss came to Louis Van Gaal's Manchester United side, 2-1. This is the exact kind of start the club would have hoped for.

Cheikhou Kouyate and Andy Carroll (currently modelling for H&M) are both out injured for the home side. Guy Demel is a doubt along with James Tomkins and Mauro Zarate are also out for them. Tomkins should be able to overcome his problems though. For City, Samir Nasri and the evergreen Frank Lampard are out injured.

In the last encounter between the two sides, City won out 2-0 against the side from London. In fact, in the last six encounters, West Ham has not come out on top. They have secured a grand total of one draw, losing the other five. City has scored 16 goals against West Ham in the past five encounters. Will West Ham be able to overcome the negative records and give City a hard time?
