The Italian continues his bad track record of leaving his former teams with a sour taste in their mouths.

Although he's no longer in a Milan kit, the Rossoneri can't seem to stop talking about Mario Balotelli.

The 24-year-old Italian was sold this past summer to Liverpool in a £16 million deal after arriving in January 2013 from Manchester City. And while he scored 30 goals during his term back in Serie A, he also racked up an unimpressive 29 yellow cards and one red, meaning that he boasted a disconcerting one-to-one goal versus caution ratio.

Balotelli, who once described Milan as his "boyhood club", was shipped out after less than two seasons and the club's president is pleased to no longer have him on his books

Since arriving, though, "Super Mario" has been unable to find his footing with the Premier League giants and has just netted once for Brendan Rodgers' men thus far. Yet despite seeing him off, Diavolo president Silvio Berlusconi decided to take yet another swipe at him in a recent interview.

"I recall that [Balotelli] was purchased against my advice, but [now instead] of a rotten apple in the dressing room, we have many champions [like] [Jeremy] Menez, [Keisuke] Honda, [Nigel] De Jong, [Stephan] El Shaarawy, and [Fernando] Torres," the former prime minister stated while chatting with Italian publication La Gazzetta dello Sport.

His replacement, Fernando Torres who was brought in on loan from Chelsea, was hailed as a "champion" by Berlusconi
