Manchester United have been hit with another injury to one of their key players. New signing Ander Herrera came down with a fractured rib during the Red Devils' last match against West Ham on Saturday.
The first reports on Herrera indicated the Spanish midfielder was suffering from back pains, even with the player stating on Facebook he hoped his back was 'alright'. Further tests revealed the player fractured a rib, and his return will remain questionable for at least a month.
Herrera's injury comes in a very difficult time for United's boss Louis Van Gaal, having up to ten players injured. Added to their medical problems, Man United will not be able to play skipper Wayne Rooney against Everton on their next match, since he saw a red card against The Hammers.
The club used its Twitter feed to report on the status of their new player:

Herrera also had some words for United's fans:
A real shame this injury, but now's not the time to feel sorry for myself. I'm already working to be back as soon as possible!
