What better way to endear yourself to your club's new fans by scoring on your home debut? Well, that's what £59.7m signing Angel Di Maria did in the first half for Manchester United against QPR.
The Red Devils have struggled to find their footing this season and fans were already showing their frustration at Louis Van Gaal's inability to earn them their first victory of the season.
Well, that was soon to change as the former Real Madrid man marked his first game at Old Trafford with a brilliant free-kick and then played a role in his team's second to put them 2-0 up over their opponents heading into the half-time break.
