Spanish defender Alberto Moreno has sealed a £12m Liverpool move as the Merseyside club completed the deal for their eighth signing of the summer.
The 22-year-old left-back will depart the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium after being previously earmarked as a target by Northern Irish manager Brendan Rodgers, with current Liverpool defenders Kolo Toure and Martin Kelly expected to leave the club.
Moreno was pulled out Sevilla squad for the UEFA Super Cup clash with Champions League holders Real Madrid, which they lost 2-0, after the two sides agreed on a compromise over the initial €20m asking price, all but confirming his Anfield switch prior to the announcement on the English Premier League side's official Twitter page.
