Certainly no one can argue that taking a penalty kick isn't a nerve-wracking thing.
Especially if a player is not known to be one of the more experienced ones lining up to tee off from the spot.
And even more so if the game hangs in the balance, with a miss giving the win to the other side.
Well, it's happened to some of the game's most seasoned penalty-kick takers, and yesterday, it happened to Manchester City's Micah Richards.
Now while this wasn't to decide let's say, a Champions League final, his miss caused his team to have to contend for third place in their group behind Greek outfit Olympiakos.
