The New York Cosmos kick off the fall season of the North American Soccer League (NASL) at home this Saturday against the San Antonio Scorpions.

ONE World Sports’ exclusive New York-area telecast of the Cosmos’ season home-opener starts at 7:00 pm, live from Hofstra University’s Shuart Stadium in Hempstead, N.Y.

ONE World Sports is the television home of the Cosmos, who “rebooted” last year after a three-decade hiatus -- going on to win the NASL Soccer Bowl and to become the only New York City professional sports team to achieve a 2013 championship.   On June 14, 2014, the Cosmos defeated Major League Soccer (MLS) cross-town rivals the New York Red Bulls 3-0 in the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup, earning bragging rights as New York’s #1 pro soccer club.

•         JP Dellacamera, well-known soccer announcer who has hosted game coverage on ABC, NBC and ESPN;

•         Janusz Michallik and Shep Messing, providing analysis. Michallik is a veteran of the U.S. National Team and 10 U.S. indoor and outdoor soccer teams; Messing is the legendary former Cosmos goalkeeper.
