ESPN’s month-long coverage of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil moves to the knockout stages, beginning Saturday, June 28, with a pair of Round of 16 matches on ABC and WATCH ABC: Brazil vs. Chile (11:30 a.m. ET) and Colombia vs. Uruguay (3:30 p.m.).

Lead play-by-play commentator Ian Darke and analyst Taylor Twellman will call the Belgium vs. USA match on Tuesday, July 1, at 3:30 p.m. on ESPN, ESPN3 and WatchESPN, while JP Dellacamera and Tommy Smyth will provide commentary on ESPN Radio’s broadcast. This is the United States’ second consecutive trip to the Round of 16, having lost in the same stage against Ghana in 2010. Weekend highlights:

Darke and Steve McManaman will call host nation Brazil vs. Chile, on Saturday, June 28, at 11:30 a.m. on ABC;

Jon Champion and Stewart Robson will describe the action from Colombia vs. Uruguay, on Saturday, at 3:30 p.m. on ABC;

Fernando Palomo and Alejandro Moreno, ESPN’s English-language commentating team for Mexican National Team matches, will call Netherlands vs. Mexico, on Sunday, June 30, at 11:30 a.m. on ESPN;

ESPN’s comprehensive coverage of the tournament includes all 64 matches televised live on ESPN, ESPN2, ABC, ESPN3 and WatchESPN, as well as 54 matches on ESPN Deportes and another 10 on ESPN Deportes+.  ESPN Radio is also broadcasting all 64 matches.
