The Black Stars finally got the friendly win they had been seeking by demolishing Korea 4-0 yesterday evening in Miami.

Yesterday, Miami played host to a friendly clash between Ghana and South Korea--the last match for both sides ahead of the upcoming World Cup.

Both the Black Stars and the Koreans had headed into the game with a dire need for a win, given that neither had enjoyed much success in their friendlies so far in 2014.

Ghana, who are due to take on the US for the third time in six days, will face an uphill battle to get out of their group due to the presence of Germany and Portugal, but this win against Korea will give them a spot of confidence heading to Brazil.

And at the end of 90+ minutes, Kwesi Appiah's squad had given their fans plenty to cheer about as they cruised to a 4-0 win over their opponents.

The result will definitely give the Stars and Stripes, who have failed to beat Ghana in their last two World Cup meetings, plenty of food for thought before facing off on June 16th.

And while Korea may not be the most difficult of opponents, it nonetheless could be a great springboard for the team before dealing with die Mannschaft and Portugal a few days later.
