Club RTL is a private television channel from Luxembourg. It broadcasts content for the French-speaking community of the country since its launch on February 15, 1995. This channel is owned and operated by RTL Benelux, SA.
Over the years, Club RTL has been categorized as a general entertainment channel, with children’s programming, movies, TV series, and sports being aired on this network. Usually, Club RTL has divided its programming into three axes: Kids Club, which features children’s programming, Club RTL (which focuses on series and films), and RTL Sport, which specializes in broadcasting sports such as tennis, motorsport, and football.
Speaking of football, Club RTL has aired live games and content related to the Belgian Cup and the Belgian First Division. Added to that, Club RTL has also offered live coverage of UEFA Champions League games over the years.
Club RTL was launched as a Standard Definition channel, but the network had a High-Definition feed launched on August 30, 2010. The HD feed’s availability has not stopped the SD option to be available. The channel has been available over the years in Luxembourg and Belgium.
