The Barca star claims Daniel Fonseca owes him $200,000, but the former Uruguayan international has struck back.

Luis Suarez finds himself embroiled in yet another controversy, as his war-of-words with former agent Daniel Fonseca has taken a turn for the worse.

The Barcelona superstar had recently accused the retired Uruguayan international of keeping $200,000 worth of money owed to the 29-year-old when he sealed his move from Nacional de Montevideo to Dutch side Groningen back in 2006.

According to the Barca man, the then 19-year-old was promised a wage package worth €30,000 a month by Daniel after sealing his first move to Europe, but only made €10,000.

However, Fonseca has now hit back at the Blaugrana superstar, calling him a liar with “psychological problems”.

He also targeted the former Liverpool attacker’s IQ, claiming that Suarez needs his fingers for addition and that he struggles with the simplest of Math problems.

Suarez revealed his disappointment in Fonseca to Monte Carlo on Wednesday, but the former Juventus man gave his side of the story after being contacted by Las Voces del Futbol.

"He is lying. He has psychological problems, he goes to a psychologist, but it's not working. I don't need him, I'm famous without him. I don't respect him as a person and cannot accept disrespect from a kid who needs to use his fingers to add up, as he does not know what is four plus four,” said the 46-year-old, as per ESPN FC.

"The 20 percent which Suarez claims was supposed to be paid to him by Nacional, not me. He owes me $1.4m. I earned him $7m in five years, he should applaud me. He should have the courage to send me a lawyer so I can tell him how he screwed me."

It remains unclear whether Suarez will repond to these comments, but the star striker will most probably be focused on the Catalan giants' next game: a trip to Real Sociedad.
