The Spanish shot-stopper saved a last-gasp spot kick to spare his team's blushes in their FA Cup 4th round tie.

Chelsea returned to action today, taking on Plymouth Argyle in the fourth round of the FA Cup. Being your typical European-giants-versus-English-minnows showdown, many expected the London heavyweights to breeze past their opponents into the next round.

However, that did not occur. In fact, it was the League One side that went ahead first, taking a 1-0 lead after only eight minutes, with the Blues having to wait until the 41st minute for an equalizer.

Unfortunately for the Stamford Bridge side, they were unable to find the winner in normal time despite dominating the possession and chances, forcing the game into extra time. Just as the visitors looked like they would take the game to a penalty shootout, Chelsea broke their hearts, with Marcos Alonso scoring in added time of the first half of the extra 30 minutes.

However, there was still enough time for another twist. Plymouth Argyle were awarded a penalty with only three minutes left on the clock, leaving many Chelsea fans worried that they would head to a shootout and crash out in Man United style. Here's where Kepa Arrizabalaga enters the story, with the Spanish shot-stopper, who has drastically improved after a horrible start to life at Stamford Bridge, pulling off a dramatic save. Check out his heroics in the video below.

While the champions of Europe sealed their spot in the fifth round, it was yet another disappointing showing from Tuchel's side, especially his attackers. Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner, who came on as a sub, struggled to get into the game, as the London giants had to rely on goals from defenders yet again.
