The Blues marched on to yet another victory in the league to secure another historic milestone.

Chelsea have set an all-new Premier League record after securing a win in Saturday's tough derby clash with newly-promoted Brentford. The Blues snatched a 1-0 win to become the first club from the English capital to win seven consecutive away London derbies in English Football League history.

In fairness, the hosts should be able to hold their heads up high after the performance they put together against the European champions who had a few notable names missing in action. Needless to say, the absence of their key men did not stop them from finding the right formula to deal with the Bees who are gradually becoming the neutrals' favorite. All it took for the game to be decided was Ben Chillwell's 45th-minute thunderbolt which saw him extend his scoring streak for the Blues to three in his last three starts.

The goal practically changed the team talks in the respective camps and it was more or less Brentford who showed much more purpose and command over the game for the most part of the second half. Thomas Frank's men came close to leveling the scoring on multiple occasions but for the brilliance of Edourado Mendy in the Chelsea goal post.

In the end, the Chelsea defense could not be trumped as the Blues secured their sixth win of the season and leaped to the top of the Premier League table once more. Thomas Tuchel's men have currently lost only one out of the eight games played so far and have conceded just three goals during the period too.
