Harry Kane's tremendous start to life in the Bundesliga continues!
Following their 4-3 victory over Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League, a game which saw the Englishman score from a penalty, the German giants returned to action on Saturday, hosting VFL Bochum at the Allianz Arena.
And it did not take too long for Tuchel's men to break the deadlock, with Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting giving the hosts the lead after only four minutes. Eight minutes later, Kane doubled the Bavarians' lead en route to scoring a hat-trick.
The Three Lions captain would go on to score twice in the second half to complete his three-goal haul and also added two assists en route to a 7-0 victory, thus capping off a sensational performance.
This feat saw him set two outstanding records, the first of which is a club record. Kane currently boasts seven goals from his first five Bundesliga appearances for the title holders and, as a result, has become the first Bayern Munich player to score six or more goals in his first five top-flight appearances for the club.

Additionally, the former Tottenham star has three assists to his name, taking his goal contributions to 10 in his first five Bundesliga games, a feat no other player has achieved on record in this competition's history.

Nonetheless, the most important thing to come out of Saturday's game was the victory. After drawing 2-2 at home to Leverkusen, it was imperative to return to winning ways. Furthermore, while Bayern Munich triumphed over Manchester United on Wednesday, conceding three goals at home to Ten Hag's injury-plagued side was anything but ideal.
Tuchel's men have temporarily moved top of the table thanks to this result, but with Leverkusen playing on Sunday, things could change. However, it is difficult to see Xabi Alonso's side reclaiming a superior goal difference following Bayern Munich's seven-goal victory.
Fans in the USA can stream all Bundesliga games, including Leverkusen's clash with Heidenheim, live on ESPN+ and watch the fixtures on demand. Furthermore, the German top flight will be aired on ESPN's other platforms as well as ABC. For global listings for this competition, click here.
