Harry Kane's first games with Bayern have been quite a success, and it seems that Die Roten are willing to lure one more player away from the Premier League club after what they have seen with the striker.
Earlier today, reports coming in from England and Germany suggest that coach Thomas Tuchel has eyed one more player from Tottenham that could help Bayern's struggling midfield. To make things even better for the German champions, the player in question has been relegated to the team's bench and is set to see his contract ending, making it even easier to try and convince him to make the trip to Germany.
That player is none other than Eric Dier, who is yet to make his debut in the 2023-24 season and who has fallen down the pecking order under coach Ange Postecoglou. Dier had minutes during the Joan Gamper Trophy earlier this month, but has failed to make an appearance for the English club in a Premier League game since May 2023.
Bayern's need for reinforcements in defense would see this as a suitable move, added to the fact that the 29-year-old midfielder is set to see his deal with Spurs come to an end next summer, exactly like Harry Kane. As per recent reports, a move for Dier would see Bayern spending a bit over $18M for the polivalent footballer, which seems as a reasonable price for a footballer that can play different positions on the pitch where Bayern need help.
It is also understood that Kane has already suggested this move to Bayern bosses due to his good relationship with Dier, and with the German giants missing out on other options, a move for Dier seems possible in the final days of this transfer window.
