The award-nominated show is set to return on September 12th, with fans being able to catch it via FX and Hulu.

Last season, a small team in Wales captured the world's imagination thanks to their promotion to the EFL League Two. That team is none other than Wrexham, who are not only the oldest club in Wales (having been founded in October 1864) but also are the third-oldest professional football team in the world.

For years, Wrexham had toiled in the lower leagues, as financial woes gripped the club and forced them to sell off many of their key players. In November 2020, the team were purchased by Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds through their joint company RR McReynolds Company LLC, with the deal formally being completed in February 2021.

After completing their purchase, the duo set about producing the documentary Welcome to Wrexham in conjunction with Boardwalk Pictures which highlighted not just the team's journey, but also that of the working class town of Wrexham where the club has been based for decades. The first season, which featured on FX and Hulu in the USA, was met with critical acclaim as it was nominated for six Primetime Emmy Awards.

Due to its success, the documentary has been renewed for a second season, starting on September 12th. Fans in the USA can follow it either on FX (for those looking to watch it on TV) or Hulu (for those seeking to stream it live on their TVs, computers, tablets, mobiles, and other devices).
