The Cityzens, via their coach Pep Guardiola, have denied any interest to let the player leave in the current transfer window.

Only one day before Manchester City begin their 2023-24 season, the club has finally made up its mind regarding a possible exit for Bernardo Silva.

The Portuguese player had been linked to Barcelona and PSG, but recent reports by transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano state that the English club is not willing to negotiate the footballer under any circumstances.

Romano even went on to assure that Manchester City decided to send a document to both PSG and Barça to see them lay back in their interest to sign Silva, mainly because the club is about to offer the Portuguese ace a contract extension.

The 28-year-old has played 200 games for Manchester City, winning almost every title available for the Cityzens since he joined them in 2017. Silva is regarded as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League, and coach Pep Guardiola has never hidden his desire to keep him around for a long time, fending off the interest of PSG and his former club.
