One of the deals that could become historic for a Premier League club is the one involving Harry Kane, who has seen his transfer saga going on for too long, and the latest developments hint that things could get even more complicated.
The most recent report by Sky Sport hints that Tottenham have finally set a deadline date for Bayern to complete their move for Kane, with the team thinking about the start of the Premier League as the final date to see the move going through.
According to the report, coach Ange Postecoglou and the team's hierarchy agree that starting the league with a full squad to choose from is key, and if Kane started with them and eventually left to play in Germany would not be adequae for their purposes this season.
With that in mind, Tottenham have set August 13 as the deadline to complete Kane's move.
Previous reports hinted that Kane has already agreed terms to join Die Roten, and that the only thing preventing his move is Daniel Levy's asking price. Negotiations between Bayern and Spurs are still taking place this week, which means that the future of England's top scorer could be sorted out soon.
