The Englishman is in the final year of his contract and is wanted at the Allianz Arena. Will he remain in North London or force an exit?

Given Harry Kane's contract situation at Tottenham, fans have been eagerly awaiting his decision regarding his future in North London. That decision has finally arrived, and unfortunately for Spurs, it is not one favorable for their club.

According to The Times, the England superstar has decided to reject all contract offers from his Premier League employers in order to force a move to Bayern Munich. This is concerning for Daniel Levy and Co. as the 29-year-old has only one year left on his deal and could leave for free next summer.

The Spurs and Three Lions all-time goalscorer is being heavily pursued by the Bundesliga champions, with the player giving the green light to an Allianz Arena movie. Tottenham, on the other hand, wish to offer him a new deal that will see him earn a significant pay raise.

Kane could see his wages nearly double, with Tottenham being open to offering their talisman a whopping £400,000 per week.

However, Harry has no intention of accepting any proposal. This bodes well for Bayern Munich who have already seen a bid rejected. Tottenham, meanwhile, want somewhere in the region of $129M for the player.

This should make  the remainder of the summer transfer window interesting. The English striker is one of the deadliest forwards in world football but Postecoglou's side will not want to lose the superstar for free.

Do Tottenham cash in on the player and reinvest the money or keep him for another season in the hope of achieving something notable in 2023/24? Only time will unveil the answer to that question.
