The USMNT star is on the exit ramp at Stamford Bridge. Teams such as Milan, Juventus, and Napoli have shown interest in his services.

One of the players who have been deemed as surplus to Chelsea's new era is Christian Pulisic, and it seems that the player will be able to sign a deal with a new team in what will be his third league in Europe.

Following his spells with Borussia Dortmund and the Blues, Pulisic has been named as a priority transfer for Olympique Lyon, who have already approached the player to become one of their top signings this summer.

There are two issues that seem to favor Lyon's bid for Pulisic. The first one is, undoubtedly, Chelsea's need to offload players, which has seen them striking deals for quite a few of their players this week. The other issue that could seal the deal for Pulisic is that former Premier League scout Matthieu Louis-Jean, who knows the American very well due to his time as a scout in the English top-flight, has stated his desire to lure the USMNT ace to Ligue 1 this summer.

According to L'Equipe, Pulisic is interested in joining a team that allows him to play regularly, something he did not have during the past few months with Chelsea. The American will see the end of his contract with the Blues next season, which could come in handy for Lyon in order to seal a low-cost deal.

Pulisic has played four seasons with Chelsea, with the last one being his least successful with only one goal to his name. A change of landscape could come in handy to boost his skills, and Ligue 1 football could be just what he needs to find his best form ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
