The player will join his new team as a free agent following the end of his contract with Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Inter Milan were forced to find a suitable replacement for Edin Dzeko, who left the team after their 1-0 loss to Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League final. Luckily for them, they managed to hire who seems the right man to fill the Bosnian's shoes in less than a week after his departure.

Reports by transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano state that the nerazzurri have won the race to sign Marcus Thuram. The son of the legendary Lilian Thuram will join the Italians after watching his deal with Borussia Mönchengladbach come to an end after four seasons with Die Borussen.

Thuram, who scored 44 goals with the German side in four seasons, is set to sign a deal with the UCL runners-up that will see him earning over 6 million euros per season. The 25-year-old will fight for a spot in the starting lineup with Lautaro Martínez, Joaquín Correa, and a potential new signing by the Serie A side.

The French international has already bid farewell to his former club, leaving only his good-bye post on his Instagram account.

Thuram declined offers from teams such as PSG, Milan, Atlético Madrid, and Borussia Dortmund to join Inter, in what will be an interesting move to keep an eye on.
