Football's governing body in South America announced the dates for next year's competition, which will be taking place from June 20 to July 14, 2024. The announcement also included the slogan for the competition, which will be "Vibra el continente" in Spanish and "Rocking the Continent" in English.

While details for the competition such as the venues are yet to be revealed, the format has already been announced. All ten CONMEBOL teams have been awarded spots in the tournament, while the remaining six opening will be given to CONCACAF teams, who will qualify to the tournament via the CONCACAF Nations League starting in September.

This time, four spots in the Copa América will be allocated to the CNL's semi-finalists, while two more will be sorted out between the losers of the Quarterfinals in CONCACAF's tournament.

This will be the second Copa América to be played in the United States, following the 2016 edition that was named Copa América Centenario.
