The Giallorossi have been in poor form lately, and could find a tough test on the cards when they welcome Inter to the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday.

Roma's form as of late will have set off alarm bells at the Stadio Olimpico, as the Giallorossi come into their upcoming clash with Inter in serious danger of missing out on Champions League football. Jose Mourinho's side are winless in their last three games, which includes a shocking draw with newly promoted Monza as well as a surprise defeat to Atalanta.

With a crucial Europa League semi-finals tie against German outfit Bayer Leverkusen looming on the horizon, Mourinho will need to manage his squad efficiently to keep everyone fighting fit. That being said, given that he will be taking on his former team, Inter, the Portuguese tactician nonetheless will hope to arrest his side's flagging form in order to ensure that they do not continue to fall behind in the race for a top four spot.

Napoli have already clinched the Scudetto in resounding fashion, meaning that there are six teams with a realistic shot at securing one of the remaining three Champions League football spots. Three of those sides have picked up at least 60 points: Lazio, Juventus, and upcoming opponents Inter. Roma are two points behind the Nerazzurri, who, unlike the Lupi, have been in excellent form as of late. Simone Inzaghi's men will arrive at the Stadio Olimpico having won three consecutive Serie A ties, including cruising to a very comfortable 6-0 win over Hellas Verona mid-week.

Like Roma, Inter are also involved in European action later this month, with a crunch Champions League semi-finals clash against AC Milan coming up next week. However, unlike the Giallorossi, the Nerazzurri have most of their key players available, which will give Inzaghi a bit more wiggle room when it comes to selecting his starting XI for this weekend tie.
