The Egyptian footballer did not hesitate to punish the Belgian shot-stopper after he failed to control the ball inside his small box.

Real Madrid struggled to find their feet at Anfield during the first 20 minutes of the game, and one man that took advantage of that was none other than Mohamed Salah, who finally had his day against Los Blancos following two traumatic games against the Spanish side.

Salah left the 2018 final following a nasty tackle by Sergio Ramos, and four years later, he made quite a few attempts to beat Thibaut Courtois, who kept a clean sheet despite his efforts and ended up giving Los Blancos one more UCL crown against the Reds. Now, the winger had his revenge and to make it even more poetic, he got it against the man who denied him back in May 2022.

Courtois received a lobbed ball by one of his teammates, and as he prepared to pass the ball to Camavinga, he accidentally hit the ball with his knee to leave the ball hanging all alone for someone to hit it. That man was Mo Salah, who simply tipped the ball to find the back of the net.

With this goal, Salah accomplished quite a record for Liverpool when it comes to European competitions.
