Carlos Tevez could be on his way back to Brazil, after the president of Corinthians claimed that they will make another offer for the player.
Andres Sanchez, the president of Brazilian league leaders Corinthians, affirmed that the club are preparing a new offer in an attempt to re-sign out of favour Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez. Corinthians, Brazil's wealthiest club, invested big-money in bringing the Argentine international to the Timao in 2005, and will do their utmost to count with the player's services for a second time.

"At the end of the year we will have another go, it won't be of 40 million (euros), but we will try something," declared Sanchez, during a press conference on Wednesday.

Sanchez assured that Corinthians "have sources to pay" and he outlined the fact that the fans will respond with larger turnouts (to matches) and from buying shirts.

The president affirmed that "if he decides to leave Europe, he will come to Corinthians," in reference to Tevez, who played a key role as Corinthians won the Brazilian championship in 2005.

Corinthians had tried to sign the player in July, however, a then-happy Tevez decided to remain at Manchester City. Since then, Tevez has been experiencing a horrid time, and has not been selected to play for the side since refusing to enter the field as a substitute in a UEFA Champions League clash against Bayern Munich on September 27.

Tevez rejected claims that he failed to listen to the instructions of Manchester City coach Roberto Mancini, saying that the situation occurred due to a misunderstanding.

In recent weeks Tevez has attracted the attention of several clubs, and while Corinthians could be his destiny, Boca Juniors, the club which saw him debut as a professional can't be discarded.
