After losing 1-0 to Costa Rica recently, Jurgen Klinsmann and his men are preparing to affront Belgium. Kick-off time for this friendly fixture is at 11:30am PST, 2:30pm EST and 6:30pm GMT.
Tuesday’s encounter between USA and Belgium will mark both sides’ fourth meeting in history. It will be important for the Americans to record an emphatic victory like the 3-0 win they clinched 81 years ago when they first clashed against Belgium.

It may, however, be difficult for Jurgen Klinsmann’s team to bounce back following their Costa Rica defeat. The likes of Lukaku, Kompany, Thomas Vermaelen and Eden Hazard are set to make life tough for USA who are yet to win after the departure of Bob Bradley.

“What we need is that piece more of determination, being really hungry to finish it off and score,” Klinsmann believes.

“If you go a goal up against a team it opens up the whole game and you find far more spaces and possibilities to break them even more down.”

But whereas some are already losing faith in the new manager, striker Jozy Altidore sees light at the end of the tunnel. Analyzing his team’s game against Costa Rica, Altidore explained:

“We are all fit guys, so to be able to run at people and keep them under pressure, in this region we're going to get a lot of wins. It's a preview of things to come.

“This style is only going to suit us down the road, so hopefully we'll just get better and better at it.”

The United States will entertain Canada in their next match after Tuesday’s friendly against Belgium.
