The Egyptian ace is now second in the team's all-time goalscoring list for the Reds when it comes to Premier League matches.

An electric match has finally come to an end at Anfield, with Liverpool claiming the points against the combative and talented Manchester City, who this time were unable to put a dent to Jurgen Klopp's ironclad defense.

The match between Reds and Citizens had it all, with one goal being disallowed for Manchester City and with Liverpool bottling clear chances after swift counter-attacks. But even if they had failed before, Klopp's men did not stop trying, which led to two of their top stars to lead the way to beat Guardiola's crew.

With less than 15 minutes left in the game (minus stoppage time), Alisson Becker calmly collected a cross into his box produced by a foul near his box. When everyone thought he would wait to put the ball in play, he sent a thunderbolt of a pass in Mohamed Salah's direction.

The Eypgtian player was one-on-one against Joao Cancelo, who tried to anticipate the ball's path to steal it away from Salah. Nevertheless, the African ace controlled the ball in style and in one swift motion, he gained control over the ball and found himself facing Ederson Moraes. All Salah had to do was to pick his spot and start celebrating...and so he did.

The game did not stop being fun at all, with even Jurgen Klopp being sent off for protesting one of the ref's decisions. Anyway, can this be the kind of boost Liverpool needed to start making their way back to the top ten? Let us wait and see.
