The 18-year-old footballer won the 2019 Copa Libertadores with Flamengo a few weeks ago.

Real Madrid's policy of adding young talent to their team continues, and this time, 2019 Copa Libertadores winner with Flamengo Reinier Jesús has joined Los Blancos until the end of the 2026 season.

The 18-year-old had his breakthrough season last year under Jorge Jesús' wing, playing 14 games with Fla in the Brazilian Serie A. He managed to score six goals and handed out two assists for the red and black side en route to winning the Copa Libertadores and Serie A titles with the team from Rio de Janeiro.

Sources close to the negotiation revealed that Reinier Jesús will join Real Madrid after Los Blancos paid a bit over $30M for the player's services.

Both clubs confirmed the deal via their social media accounts, and Real Madrid also informed of this transfer on their website via a press release.

"Real Madrid FC and the Clube de Regatas do Flamengo have reached an agreement for Reinier's transfer, who will sign a deal with the club until June 2026. The player will join Real Madrid Castilla when the Olympic Games Qualifying matches with Brazil comes to an end," the document states.

Reinier will become the third Brazilian player to join Los Blancos in the past three years, following the arrivals of Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo.

"Reinier's our most recent signing. Here are some of his skills."
