The Red Devils welcome Spurs to Old Trafford today but could be without one key attacker.

Man United are gearing up for a crucial Premier League clash with Tottenham. This game will see Jose Mourinho return to Old Trafford as a coach for the first time since his sacking, but for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, there are more pressing issues.

The Red Devils are in 10th spot and could be a whopping 10 points off the top four should they fail to beat Spurs. Unfortunately, their odds of winning have been rocked by an injury to one key attacker.

That man is Anthony Martial. The Frenchman picked up muscular problem late on in the 2-2 draw with Aston Villa, with that knock now ruling him out of Tottenham’s visit (as per the Sun). To make things worse, the former Monaco man might also have to sit out the Manchester Derby this weekend.

The Frenchman is not Solskjaer’s only concern for this midweek clash. Matic and McTominay are doubts for this game in what could be a do or die game for Man United’s Norwegian boss.

According to recent reports, Ole is fighting for his job and failure to win Wednesday’s match could result in his sacking. This would follow the likes of Pochettino and Emery who were handed the boot in north London.
