Salomon Kalou is apparently fed up with having to sit on the bench for the past few weeks since Fernando Torres arrived at Stamford Bridge
Chelsea striker Salomon Kalou has poured out his frustration at not being able to play regular football and he even suggested that a move away from Chelsea could be possible if the circumstances remain the same for the rest of the season.

The Ivorian striker has failed to start regularly since Fernando Torres arrived and has now dropped behind Torres to be the fourth choice striker at Chelsea. He has only started 11 games this season and with the situation looking gloomy for him, he insists that a departure from Chelsea might be on the cards for him.

"It's been difficult watching from the sidelines these past few weeks," Kalou said, according to ESPN. "If an opportunity doesn't come, that's when you sit down at the end of the season and think about it.

"Every game it's possible to make the right decision and it has to be something you're doing for the good of your own career. You don't make any decisions by rushing them."

"They are all top strikers, but I have to say that if you take the statistics I'm not far from them," he said. "I can reach their level, so I have to keep working hard and that's the only way I will get into the team.

"The manager knows I can bring something to the team as well. Right now he's making the choice of Torres and Anelka. It's working well and we're winning games, so I have to wait."

Salomon Kalou has scored some very crucial goals for Chelsea over the past few years, but with Daniel Sturridge also performing well on loan at Bolton; times may be even harder for Kalou next season.
