According to the report, the two got together in a private villa in LA.

Could this be the summer that Paul Pogba ends his Man United career for a second time? After falling out with Jose Mourinho, the Frenchman is now reportedly seeking an exit, with Barcelona being interested in the midfielder.

As a result, claims that the World Cup winner met with the Blaugrana's sporting director will only intensify the exit rumors. As reported by Tuttosport, the two convened in a private villa in the United States, where Pogba is on holiday and Barcelona is touring for their pre-season.

The Barcelona official, Eric Abidal, reportedly met the 25-year-old in LA to discuss a possible transfer. The Red Devils ace expressed a desire to leave Old Trafford in that get-together but Mourinho's side is not inclined to sell.

The Bleus international is under contract at the Theatre of Dreams until 2021 and would understandably garner a fee in excess of what Man United paid to take him back from Juventus. Whether the Catalan giant will cut a fat cheque to pursue Pogba remains unknown but they are in need of reinforcements in midfield.

The Spanish champion has been interested in Adrien Rabiot but the PSG man has opted to stay in Ligue 1.  As a result, Paul is one of a few options willing to make the Camp Nou switch that would add quality to Valverde's squad.

Under the Special One, he has struggled to find his best form. For this reason, the Frenchman has found himself under heavy criticism and could thus be ready to leave England altogether.
