What was meant to show the good relationship between some of Argentina's finest footballers ended with one of them getting torn apart by fans.

Lionel Messi used his Facebook account to post a picture featuring himself, Gonzalo Higuaín and Paulo Dybala minutes afther the UEFA Champions League tie between Juventus and Barcelona. The three footballers seemed to be enjoying themselves, but what stood out was Gonzalo Higuain's form, as he showed off a not-so-fit abdomen.

Immediately, fans started criticizing Higuaín's "nerve" to appear in that picture without his shirt on. Some of those comments had harsh comments against the player, hinting that his playing style would be even better if he lost some pounds.

"Isn't Higuain ashamed of posing without a shirt? That's how he wants to play in the World Cup? He's as fat as a seal!"

"Higuaín played while wearing a lifesaver, or maybe he ate all the film rolls from his old camera."

"It's a pity that Dybala and Higuain don't play with Argentina as great as they do with their club."

"(Messi) was telling him (Dybala): Hey, can you believe this guy (Higuaín) aims his shots at the moon?"
