The England striker is currently with the Three Lions and wished to focus on the tournament before making a decision.

England striker Jamie Vardy has a lot to think about regarding his future, as the Three Lions gear up for their UEFA Euro 2016 opener against Russia. The Leicester City forward, having guided the Foxes to an astonishing English Premier League title last season, is now subject to a tempting bid from London giants Arsenal.

The 29-year-old BPL Player of the Season winner has reportedly had his release clause triggered by the Gunners, whilst Arsene Wenger’s side are offering a salary package worth  £120,000-a-week.

Nonetheless, the English ace is hesitating over agreeing to an Emirates Stadium switch, as the player is keen on focusing on UEFA Euro 2016 before making a decision as to whether he should stick with Leicester City or jump ships.

This decision has shocked an Arsenal great, as one of the English Premier League’s greatest ever strikers admitted to being flabbergasted by Vardy’s reluctance to sign for the north London giants.

That man is none other than former France striker Thierry Henry, who revealed on BBC Radio 5 Live that he would have accepted Arsenal’s offer if he was in the English star’s shoes. The Bleues legend said

"He's 29, right? You have Arsenal coming for you, and you're telling them you're going to think about it?"

"Listen. All I can say is if I was playing for Leicester and I had Arsenal coming, I would have gone."

Vardy will likely be in action on Saturday when Roy Hodgson’s crew open their UEFA Euro 2016 campaign with an exciting clash with Russia at the Stade Vélodrome.
