West Ham's Dimitri Payet has caught the eyes of Spanish giants Real Madrid, as Los Blancos have plotted a sensational move for the midfielder.

Since moving to Upton Park after his £10 million summer move from Marseille, the France international has been in extraordinary form.

In his 29 appearances for the English side, the former Ligue 1 player has netted 12 goals this season establishing himself as an important part of the lineup.

His amazing transformation as a West Ham footballer has attracted the attention of Real Madrid, as the Spanish club are trying to lure Payet to Spain this summer. According to France Football, the 29-year old is Real Madrid's first option if James Rodriguez or Jese leave. However, the 'Hammers' will most likely reject any offers by the elite Madrid club, as they have already tied Payet down with a five-and-a-half year contract back in February.
